Fighting for Southwest Virginia in Washington

Growing up in Salem, Morgan Griffith was raised with traditional Southwest Virginia values–hard work, belief in God, and the importance of serving your neighbors. Morgan has dedicated his life to serving Southwest Virginia by protecting our Constitutional freedoms and fighting for our conservative family values.

After graduating from Emory & Henry College and the Washington and Lee University School of Law, Morgan returned to Southwest Virginia where he operated his own private law practice. Eager to serve our community, he successfully ran for the Virginia House of Delegates and then the United States Congress. In 2010, he defeated a 28-year Democratic incumbent to turn the 9th District red for the first time since 1982.

As our conservative voice in Congress, Morgan fought to protect our conservative values and makes no apology for defending the 2nd Amendment or the right to life. He has a proven record of fighting for our community, including standing up to the Environmental Protection Agency and job-killing regulations.

As a husband and a father, Morgan knows how important it is to protect our community and Southwest Virginia values to leave a better quality of life for future generations. As your voice in Congress, he will never stop fighting for you.
